O.. i m back from christmas lunch and dinner.
Went bugis with 11 other classmates for christmas lunch.
ate at n.y.d.c.
then went arcade and pool.
i suck big time at pool.
and i suck big time at daytona.
zzzzz.

We hang at the arcade and pool for quite some time before moving to Long John for dinner.
I guess outside food really has alot of MSG, cuz i m super super thirsty now.

hm.. not too bad.. today I earned USD $1 with google adsense, Submitted a post which is worth USD $2 and currently writting one which is worth USD $10 but dunno if they will aprove this post or not..lol.

Back from christmas gathering.
went for steamboat and played fireworks.
Pris got us the fireworks and guess what is used to light the fireworks?
match sticks!

How can matches light a firework especially with breeze!
haha.. but we got it going.. after like more than 10 tries and using 2/3 of the matches in the box.
But its fun we were playing like children.. haha.

Went to Clarke Quay after that.. took us a long time to decide on where to go. we were trying to find a place with fewer people. Clarke Quay is still ok la.. at least better than orchard. Anyways just sat there and talked for i dunno how long.

wait till 12am. ooo.. 12am! merry christmas! everyone start spraying foam from a can on everyone..lol.. luckily din kena me.

i was complaining to pris that we have been out for almost the whole day, seen hundreds of ppl but din see ppl tat we know. Where are all the people we know?!?! then guess who we ran into on the MRT during the ride back home. Yong Kian the funny guy.. haha!!

today.. i played a very intense chess game.
probably the most intense one in my entire life.
i was online.. camping and waiting for my worthy opponent to appear and set out to challenge him.
He accepted my challenge half reluctatly.
we got on playing anyway.

i was so nervous.. which cost my dearly early in the game.
a couple of wrong moves seem to wreck the whole game.
hope of coming out alive seem bleak.

but just as we got into the mid game,
i made a series of wonderful moves which lead my opponent into a trap.
just as he is walking into it.. i foiled the whole plan by revealing it accidentally.
oh my god.
now the battle begins again.

the game lasted for 2 hours and ended in a draw.
i told my worthy opponent that i will challenge him again.. next time.

wa.. wad a game wad a game.
almost died..lol!

wow.. i think i m going to genting next yr with part of the class..lol.
cant believe that plan it..
which such enthu classmates ard we may have outing till 80 yrs old.. yeah man!!!

It was slightly cloudly which is good or else we would have been super BBQed.
Bascially we eat and played.

He got this super nice style, that seem to make bowling so much more effortless.
He's the youngest bowler in PBA to reach $1M in career earnings.

He is thrid in tour average of 228.54 in the current PBA season. Second on the points list.
join 8 events and made it to the championship round for 4 of 8 events, second to Walter Ray Williams. yet i dun remember seeing him win a title.
damn sad la.. i have watched him played in almost all his matches this season and he's really damn suay. cant perform at the most crucial point.
oh well.. i wish him luck in his next match =D

prom was cool.
met Zx, HK and Cherk at ZX's place and we do stuff.
Like lunch, gaming, movie and sleeping.
Zx and CK left at 345 to pick up their dates.
HK and I being damn pathetic stayed in ZX's house.
He was sleeping like a pig.. i was on the comp.
We left at 5 30. SX's dad came pick us up.

We reached then then the SX say he damn hungry.. treat us to mean a restaurant.
Quite nice la.. and the price is omg super ex.

Then we go up to the ballroom foyer.
The first thing that hit me when i was looking ard was.. "eh who are these people i dun recognise any one of them"

it was like OMG!
especially the girls.
In school right u will like sort of recognise people of the same level cuz they have been with you for like 2 yrs.
When i was in there ah.. i dun recognise a single girl other than the 08 girls.

i was like.. eh ok.. who is this girl.. is she from AJ?
and that thought crossed my mind every time a lady walk past.
it takes some time to adjust to their prom dress and make-up.

Wa.. i know many girls is going to kill me.
but i dun think that girls who put make-up looks better.
maybe its just me.. or maybe the makeup is too thick.

what ever it is.. i think girls look best when they dont put make up but do their hair properly and dress nicely.
Thats super nice.

ok talking about not recognising girls when they are in make up..
prissy called me during prom and say 'hey lets take a pic.. i m at table blah blah'

hihi i m back!

as all of you know i went to china with my family and relatives.

quite fun la.

the tour group consist of 15 people including myself.

14 which are my relatives, family and myself and 1 other singaporean lady.

i m going to bore you out if i start writing about what happen in my 8 day trip right?

well i dun care!! i m going to write.

ok la.. a short summary.

basically.. we travel to shanghai to hangzhou to suzhou to wuxi back to shanghai and then to singapore.

at first i was not too use to the people there la.

depending on which city you are in.. the locals can be super friendly or extremely rude.

suzhou and shanghai people seem friendlier than the other cities.

i m going to die of lung cancer.

the people there love smoking sia.

in sg, on orchard road maybe 2 out 10 smoke.. in that place.. 6 out of 10 smoke.

smoke every where.. serious.

and they love spitting every where.

walk on their streets and every 5 min can see people spitting.

their traffic is super dangerous.

usually in Singapore.. the pedestrian crossing (zebra crossing) sends this signal to motorist: please give way to pedestrians.

back there their zebra crossing sends this signal to pedestrians: cross the road at your own risk.. kena bang not my problem.

LOL! their cars won give way to the pedestrians.

they will just nice brake infront of you.. one more inch u die liao.. haha.

but afterwards get used to it liao la.. so its not so bad.

and their english super funny.

maybe i shd show u a sample eh..

i found this in on the toilet door in the hotel.

This is the ultimate sia.

and still got alot others la.. show u next time.

after this incident.. everytime we visit a new hotel we will immediately check out all their stuff which are written in english.. haha.

i stayed in 4 different hotels in 8 days.. so there are lots of funny and lame mistakes spotted.

alright.. the food there is not bad.

at least 8 course of dishes per meal.. excluding 2-4 appetizer and rice. siao one.

oh.. i got a hair cut in china.. haha.

nothing to do.. so go cut hair lor..lol.

back in singapore right..i dun go to any hairstylist or what ever u call that la.. my hair cut nv exceed 10 buck/cut before.

usually go to the malay barber beside my house and most of the time the hair come out is kns one.

anyway.. i went to a barber in some small street in shanghai. The shop is super small.. like 1/3 of our AJ classroom and the hair cut is 5 yuan.. thats 1 singapore dollar.

10 times cheaper than in singapore. the quality and service is better than our barber la.

kaoz.. they can come here set up their shop sure got ppl go one.

din really buy lots of stuff la..

just some clothes and shoes only.

we visited many places.

all those china china stuff la.

jade.. silk.. tea plantation.. tea pot/cups.. temples.. blah blah.

so glad to be back la.

the air plane so cramp.. cuz its not SIA la.. lol.

wad china eastern airline.

no leg rest.. no personal screen.. no nothing.

and i took 1218 pictures/videos during the trip.

i live on the 11th floor.
my direct neighbour upstairs(12th floor) is very noisy.
they walk so loudly that i can located exactly where they are in their house.
and they love shifting stuff ard.. esp early in the morning when even the birds are not awake yet.
so noisy.. its driving me nuts.
some day i will buy the flat 2 floors directly up.. the 13th floor.
and i will invite all my friends to the 13th floor flat to play basketball.
yea guys bounce as hard as you can.. my 12th floor neighbour will not complain cuz they are kinda deaf.. they can hear thier own loud stomping sound and furniture dragging sound.
we can play bball on my 13th flr flat at 3 am in the morning, its alright they are cool with it.

spend like 1 hour plus reading it..lol.. and i din even finish 0.1 percent of the whole series. Its categorized into alphabets.. A-Z. The whole series of book placed tgt on the shelf is wider than 2 of my computer screens sia.

then wander ard CP like an idiot.
at least there's an arcade in CP.
i m no big fan of arcade games but its nice watching ppl play all the car racing games.

i feel like touring singapore.
like a real tourist.
though i have been here for 18 yrs.. i dun really know the place well.. lol.
maybe i will give myself a social studies project to do.
Tour singapore and do up and article on each destination.
wa.. at least this will help me kill some time.

yay.. exams are finally over.
That was the longest 22 days of my entire life.
Though exams were over ytd.. at ard 9 plus there wasnt the 'yeah man i m so happy lets go party' feeling.
i dunno why.. lol..
nvm.

Class outing was fun.
i din wanna go kbox cuz i dun feel like going kboxing.. lol so jav zx and I ended up in the bowling alley and movie theater.
i realised i haven been bowling for a long time.
like 1 month.
and realised how lousy house shoes and house balls are.
cant believe i used those equipments last time.

and i cant freaking play good with a stupid house ball and shoe.
The ball keep sliping out.. maybe cuz i m more used to my own semi-fingerstip grip. The house ball uses conventional grip. and the house shoes.. for right handers there is suppose to be a piece of leather beneth the left sole so can slide la.
i din know the leather under the house shoe was worn out so.. slide for 3 cm suddenly brake almost fall forward.. LOL!

but bowling like that reminds me of when i just started bowling.
its all pure entertainment.
it doesnt matter if i get 20pts 100 pts or 200 pts.
i feel happy as long as the ball doesnt gutter.. haha!
but after joining the team and everything.. perhaps expectations changes.
when you dont bowl well last time it doesnt matter at all.
but for now.. it just piss me off.

went to play bball after ytd's paper and i realised how old i m getting..lol.
one hour then die liao.
too long nv exercise already.. need to get started soon or else i may just die in NS.
I guess i was quite drained from playing plus went home and sat infron of the comp for 3 hours.. ended up with headache..lol.
heng ah.. its onli a mild one.

i realised that when some people complain of headache ah.. its actually just the veins in the head area throbbing harder than usual.. then thats a headache liao. -.-''
thats not headache.
a headache is when there's something squeezing ur head and it feels like exploding, and u feel like jumping down the building to end this pain. Thats headache.

ok.. i wanna complain abt the neighbours.

lets start from the one directly upstairs.
damn noisy la.
1am in the morning.. i can hear their elephant footsteps coming from the ceiling. Then the screeching sound made by furnitures being shifted around. The stuff dropping all around.
7am in the morning.. i can hear doors slamming and more footsteps.. the walk damn loud leh.. ok guys.. if u remember back in your uniform group days during the march we gotta dig our boots right? imagine digging your feet into your floor now.. thats most probably how they walk everyday.. at home.

Next.. the people at the opposite block. There's this person who blows the trumpet and i swear he is a bloody noobshit in this instrument all he can play is the C major scale and nothing else. and the C major scale also not very good eh. anyways.. the trumpet is so loud that even when i close all the doors and windows and with my pillow over my ears i still can hear clearly what note he is playing. its not my hearing damn good its the stupid sound super loud. When i go to my balcony to check out the sound ah.. the music is like echoing between all the blocks of flats sia.. kaoz.. how considerate. My piano also not so loud la.. ok u may ask how i know if my piano is loud or not? There's this guy who plays piano at the opposite block.. i need to strain my ears to hear wad he is playing.. so.. i guess my playing shdnt be too loud either.

ok.. next one.. there's a second birdpark in singapore.. the first one being Jurong BP, second being SengKang BirdPark. There's this guy at the next block at the second level with i dunno how many birds in all the cages. at least 7-10. cus i can hear like so many birds chripping. chripping is ok.. but u know some birds dun chrip. They make some loud wierd calls.. and brids wake up early in the morning right? damnit so loud always disrupt my dreams!

next source of noise pollution.. the kids downstairs.. its holiday and they run ard like mad man screaming non stop how am i suppose to concentrate playing my battlefield 2 when there are like a 20 kids going crazy?

ok so whats going on in my life recently.
other than going thru what everyone is going thru now.. i mean the exams, i have been watching movies, lots of movies, lots of youtube, playing lots of BF2 and thinking of what am i going to do after the exams.

i feel that i won't wanna waste my life doing stuff like sleeping for 10 hours a day, gaming for another 8 hours and spend the next 6 hours infront of the tv before going to bed.
IMO.. this is waste of my precious life.
i figured the best way to spend the holidays is to do something meaningful, but for now.. i have not figure out what is that 'something meaningful' yet.
so i will go figure it out later while revising for chemistry.

can consider watching Returner by takeshi kaneshiro and anne suzuki. Its abit sci-fi.. about travelling back in time to stop an incident in the past which lead to alien invasion. some nice fighting scenes.

Can also consider watching Evan Almighty.. abt this guy who is asked by God to build an ark.
there is one part in the movie which say God doesn't give things, he gives the opportunity to get things for example if u pray to be rich.. God doesnt give u wealth, instead He gives you opportunity to attain wealth its up to you to grasp this opportunity.

Another movie that i watched in this 2 days.. Eight Below. An average movie.. about a guy leaving 8 of his sled dogs behind in antarctica cuz they had to be evacuated quicky due to storms and frost bites and stuff. So he tot it will be fast and he will get his dogs out of the place but the weather got worst and noone is willing to provide transport to that place.
so basically its about 8 dogs fighting for survival while their master try to rescue them.
they stayed there alone for like about 170 plus days before rescued.. lol.
2 hours movie.. abit too long and draggy.. not enough action for excitment but touching at parts.

players are ill discipline and they only won 4 out of 26 games last season.
It showed how this coach transformed this messy team into a fine undefeatable team.
Other than coaching them in basketball this coach is also concern abt their academics.
When he realised that they are failing test and skipping classes he benched his whole team till they can show academic progress.

i told my cousin that she can consider AJC as one of her choices for JCs.
Then she asked me 3 questions about the school that made me dumbfounded.
1. How big is the campus?
2. How old is the campus?
3. How's the school uniform like?

I seriously din know how to reply.
what should i say?
i mean i got to answer honestly right?
Like.. ' Small... old... grey top and dark blue bottom...'
seriously it is smaller compared to other schools that one fact u cant deny.
next its old.. indeed.. than many other schools.. and it does appear old to a certain extend despite the new coat of pain. Its another fact u cant deny.
and the most obvious fact will be the colour of the uniform la.. its really grey and dark blue.

so i said.. its small.. old.. and grey+dark blue.
so i get this typical reaction that i got from many other juniors and friends.
"ee.. small? old? and Grey?!?!"

i m used to these reactions liao la.. i got to admit that the first time i step into ajc was during its open house.
i gotta admit.. it wasnt one of my choices of jc.
cos its old small and the uniform looks weird.
plus all the rumours abt the school is damn mugger and boring and no life and this and that.

but eventually went to ajc la.. and i realised that one cant judge a books by its cover.
so what if it's small? old? and the uniform looks weird?
i found it comfortable, cozy and fun.
laugh at me and say edwin is crazy if u want, but i m proud to be wearing the uniform.

about being the ultimate mugger school in singapore..
i have got to disagree to some extend..lol.. not cuz i m in this school so i m damn bias..
we certainly do not have ppl bursting out of the school gate run like a mad dog to the bus stop to catch a bus so as to rush home as soon as possible to study.
nor do we have ppl stealing other's notes.
i have to admit that as exams approaches more ppl can be seen doing revision in the school but its a common trend across all schools.
tell me if i m wrong.
tell me if there's a school where all students go party all day and night 2 weeks before the exams. tell me.. i wanna get enrolled into that school.

why am i saying all this?
well.. just ranting.
sometimes it just get irritating when people say negative stuff abt ur school.

thursday is the best day of the week!
Civics PE Break Maths school end.
for civics today we were suppose to play some sports tgt as a class but unfortunately it was raining heavily.. so charade was suggested instead.
sadly only 14 ppl were interested cuz the others are more interested in doing work.
and i thought it was suppose to be a class activity.

learned some folk dance during PE.
Entertaining to watch ppl dance funnily.. haha.
The teacher mentioned smt like it is opportunity for one of the classes of girls to get to know some guys cuz the whole class are female students.
its weird huh? how did they manage to slot twenty plus female into 1 class.. i wonder if this is random or deliberate.

anyways.. the class played captain' ball together after PE.
not exactly the whole class.. 24 out of 25 but its pretty cool already.
personally.. i recognise that we only have 24 students in class.
i believe a number of ppl will agree.

oh ya.. i fail math.
like nothing suprising.
if i write 'i pass math' u better check with me to see if that sentence contain any typo errors or not. i probably forget to put 'din' in between of 'i' and 'pass'.

At ard 1 30am this morning i woke up with a bloody headache and a bad dream.
slept at midnight but haven slept well at all cuz my mind right isnt fully asleep.

guess wad am i thinking of.. i have this impression that i m thinking of solving a quadratic equation.
its damn easy but i cant solve it.
and i think my mind have been working on this equation since i fall asleep.

There was an earthquake in indonesia just now ard 7 plus.
can feel the tremors.

i m here to complain again.
haha.
this morning i decided to take the 615am bus so went down at 610 and see all the usual people who took the 615 bus ard 10 plus of them.
so we all waited till 615.. no bus come.
6 20 no bus come.
625 no bus come.
by this time right i see those ppl who take the 630 bus walking towards the bus stop.
kaoz.. today i see 2 batches of familar ppl la.. the 615 gang and the 630 gang.
that sums up to like 30 ppl in one bus stop waiting for one stupid bus.

so the 630 bus came crawling to the bus stop at 6 30.
20 mins of wait in the morning.. thats.. abit too long.
then all 30 plus ppl manage to board the bus thats good.. but the bus is super packed already.
like a can of sardine. all squeeze into a small place.

then people cant get onto the bus at the next top cos no space.
and then when the bus reach the stop just before the expressway.. there were like 20 plus ppl trying to get onto the bus. not all can get in.

omg.. this is so screw up la..
did the bus company just changed the bus frequency to 20 mins/bus in morning?

anyways..there was this plump girl who is damn inconsiderate.
i have nothing agaist plump ppl cos i m not skinny either.. but cos she is so inconsiderate i feel like calling her names.
we were standing at the back of the bus and there was this space btw us.. space for 1 person.
she die also dowan move.
like i will eat her up sia.. and ppl at the front keep squeezing like siao trying to let more ppl into the bus she die also won move.
i wanted to ask her to move in but decided not to cos i dun like the look on her face.
i may puke.

anyways.. i was silently thinking what will happen if i asked her to move in.
i was abit unhappy la.. so my tone wont be so friendly.. this is how it went in my imagination..

and the girl got this 'i-m-not-happy' look on her face.

taking exams is damn stressful.

firstly is cos all the neighbours will ask u how did u do.
and neighbours include ppl of the same age taking the same exam.
second all the relative will ask u how did u do.
relatives includes those who took the exam already and those who are pending to take the exam.
so those who are pending will take u as some kind of benchmark or wad ever u call that..
its damn sian de..
then its damn hard to answer to all those ppl who ask u how did u do.
ahh crap thats why i hate exams.
but the main reason why i hate exams is cuz exams requires hard work.. HAHA!

i was in a bad mood after i came back from outside.
dunno why also.. perhaps its the exams tml.
cuz i cant staand it when the paper is 3 hrs long.
super boring.
and my butt becomes super painful.

whole day of fun.
so nice.
we waited 45 mins for prissy cos she's late, as usual la.. HAHA!
anw i swore i walked up and down the whole of TM at least 5 times.
from basement to the forth floor.

then we went to the chalet.
omg i made the biggest mistake in my life.
its at downtown east.
i tot is was the one where u put one dollar for the entrance fee.
but hell no.
it was the one beside escape theme park.

wasted 1 buck.
went inside and realised that we are at the wrong place.
LOL!!
one of the biggest blunder in my life.

then we went to the correct place.
oh it was a nice place.
bbq and bbq and bbq.
eat eat eat.
the food was good.. i dun understand why pris and dom ate onli like 1 satay and 1 hot dog.
maybe on diet.
anyways.. alot of people went.
there are some ex zhss ppl.. some working friends.. and lots of her schoolmates.

so we sat there beside the bbq pit.. and talked for like 4 hours straight.
i spoke alot to dom and pris and dom and pris and dom and pris.
ok sorry.
actually i m not an introvert and i like to make friends.
but half of the people there seem to know half of the ppl there..
its just weird to go there and say hi.

imagine i go up there and say hi to people.

see.. i mean the people there look quite friendly but its just plain weird to go into a group of ppl and say hi and join them for party.

cos once he arrive at the chalet he came looking for the marshmallows.

i m not looking forward to tml's GP prelims.
most probably a fail.
Exams are like torture.
sitting in the venue for 3 hours?! i m going to die.
i cant sit for more than 2 hours.
i hate it when the hall is freezing cold.. and when i m super hungry halfway through paper 2.. and when there is urgent need to visit the washroom but you can cuz there is only half an hour left and u r still left with AQ and summary.

my bro asked me some sec 3 physic kinematics stuff and i answered them incorrectly.
the qns is..
when a guy walks around the edge of a plot of rectangle land and takes t seconds to walk 1 complete round.. what is his velocity?
damn i tot the velocity is distance walked divided by time taken.
wrong!
after some thinking i realised that velocity= displacement/time and speed= dist/time.
so.. velocity shd be 0 cos the disp is 0.
correct me if i m wrong.

Shooter, Disturbia, 28 weeks later and The Condemned.
nice movies.
was watching 28 weeks later while eating lunch.
damn it man.. wrong time to watch it.
so gross with all the blood and stuff.
lost my appetite.
its totally disgusting.
nice movie nevertheless.

ok my favourite is Disturbia.
though some ppl may disagree and find it boring.
so its a movie abt a boy under house arrest and got bored so he started to spy on his neighbours.
then he suspect that one of his neighbours is a wanted serial killer.
the build up of the story to the main plot of the film was abit slow, cuz they showed other stuff like how this guy got to know this girl and the stuff they did blah blah.. but when it comes to the main plot of the story, the suspense was there.
fantastic.
kept me glued to the screen till it ends.

shooter was nice too.
about an ex sniper being framed for killing someone.
the cool part was abt how he kills his enemy 1 mile away.

ok .. 28 weeks later is a follow up of the film 28 days later.
i wonder if there is going to be a 28 months later or not.

the condemned about a group of ppl killing each other on an island.

ok notice all the movies have some form of violence in them.

went to the vocational assessment today.
not as boring and as bad as i thought la.
got to know some people over there so i m not so lonely.
there are a few sections to this assessment.
there is the filling up of a white form.
where they ask u to rank which vocation u want to go in from most preferred to least preferred.
so i ranked commando as the most preferred and logistics as the least lol.
then interview he ask some qns.. do u want to sign on all that.

fitness test very simple.
1 min can do how many sit ups and push ups.
30 sec can do how many pull ups.
standboard jump.

i think i m the dumbest guy in the group cos i took everything seriously..lol.
ppl do 10 push up i did 50.
then realised that its so damn stupid so i told them i did 40.

medical check.
just go insdie the room.
medical officer "any bone, muscle injury?"
me "no"
medical officer "ok u may go"
6 seconds only.

Psychomotor test.
test ur balancing, flexibility, agility, endurance.
just do some tip toe with eyes close.. flipping like a mad dog on the floor.

ok this is the longest part the survey.
i counted the number of qns.
396 if i m not wrong
so today i shaded 396 circles on the answer sheet.
luckily all mcq.
test on IQ, personality and stress management.
2 hours plus.. super long.
some ppl any how do de.. so funny.

Then commando bmt is at pasir ris. so if weekends allowed to go home dont need take ferry, just take bus can reach home liao.
hope i get in ah.. cos it sounds like fun..lol.

some ppl are just so afraid that ppl will become better than them, in terms of grades, then these ppl turn selfish.
refuse to borrow others notes, or peer tutor them, or help them in their studies.
cos they are afraid that others may do better.

how selfish can they get?
especially when exams are near, they began to show their true colours.
those whom u once called friends, classmates, schoolmates now turn their backs again you.
refuse to help.
their reason is simple.

was playing in the league just now, the lanes are super screwed.
the alley oiled the lanes about 45 mins b4 the league start and they issue it to public to bowl first b4 the league start.
there are this bunch of noobs bowling on my lanes.. lane 5 and 6.
so the oiling all kena messed up by them la.
the 2 lane oil pattern is so super different.
lane 5 is so super dry in the middle and oily outside.
omg.. not easy to play.
lane 6 is ok.. the normal oil pattern.
but its tough to alternate between the 2 lanes with different patterns.
must rmb which line to play for which lane and wad adjustment to make.
omg.. i think the opponent were feeling quite screwed too.
so only got a 160.33 av.
totally cannot spare on the dry lanes.
my usual pin 10 spare line can spare pin 5 today.
fantastically screwed.

tml is a long long long day.
only end at 6pm.
omg.. thanks to econs time prac and lecture.
its going to be 3 straight hours of econs and econs only.
i guess the only way to success is hard work and nothing else.
