All 4 J1s got into the team..
personally, i dun feel that 1 particular j1 deserve to be in the team.
nvm.
6 J2s have to kill each other to fight for 4 spaces.
the other 2.. reserves.

guess how did they select the 4 J2s?

Friday traninig was a roll off.
At Singapore Orchid Country Club.
Play 3 games.
4 with the highest pin fall get into the team.
the rest.. too bad too sad.

dont wanna complaint.. but this is not the correct way to choose a team.
my expression was this -.-'' when they revealed the format.

well.. wasnt very pleased with this no-brain way of selecting the team.
firstly, they are selecting the team by judging our performance on non-competition ground.
Lanes at OCC and SY are totally different.
OCC have got short and mild oil.
SY have got long and middle heavy oil.
totally opposite conditions..
some ppl can perform damn well on shorter oil, and die in long oil.
by selecting the people who can play in short oil to play in long oil..
we are just courting death.
seriously.
not really a fair selection.

secondly.. the selection is soley based on scores.
well i m fine with soley based on scores.
the problem lies with playing only 3 games.
3 is too few.
its not enough to determine one's consistency.
cos when u r lucky in a 3 game series.. u win.
its more of luck.
3 games is too few to determine one's true skill / average score.

thridly.. there is no coach to judge us.
this is crap.
scores may be important but other stuff like ur delivery is more important.
and also.. no coach there to see if u deserve this high score or not.. or maybe u r just damn lucky.
u know.. not everyday is sunday.. bowl 3 good games last friday doesnt mean that u will bowl 18 good games in 4 different days during the competition.

did regret losing my temper after that.
it only reflects how sucky a sportsman i m.
