Nice show.
Adapted from a Manga, there is an anime version and a live action version.
Watch the live action one.
10 episodes of 36 minutes and 1 episode of 2h25mins.

It's about people getting involved in a game called Liar Game Tournament, where they are to deceive and trick others in giving up their money. Apart from the very pretty main actress Erika Toda who acted as Nao, the strategies used in obtaining other people's money are very interesting. It's nothing close to using violence and robbing others of their money. Its all about using brains and the art of deception.

This show serves to remind all of us that the world is not as pure as we think it is. Not to believe in just anyone we meet and never to let our guard down or else we will be the ones at the losing end. However while protecting ourselves, we should also not inflict any harm on others.

Finish watching "operation love" or some people call it "proposal Daisakusen".
Short J-drama.. 11 episodes only.

Ken Iwase was at Rei Yoshida's wedding ceremony. Despite such happy occasion, he was feeling sad and regretful. Rei and Ken were childhood friends, they meet when Rei transferred to his class in primary 3 and since then they became best friends.

Rei is getting married to Tada Tetsuya, who was a trainee teacher who taught Ken and his friends when they were in high school.

Ken who was secretly in love with Rei for the past 14 years now have to watch his dream girl slip away. And to make things worse, as Rei's best friend he is entrusted with the task to deliver a speech to congratulate the couple and to wish them eternal happiness.

Hiding his true emotions, Ken delivered the speech and wished them the best. Deep down inside he was full of regret and wished that he had tried harder to confess.

They proceed to view a montage containing pictures of Rei, ken, Tada + 3 other of their best friends. The montage traced Rei's life from primary school when she met Ken.. to high school.. to university.. to work.. to the day when tada proposed to Rei.

A church fairy saw Ken's depressed state and decided to help him by letting Ken travel back in time to correct his past and to confess to Rei before it is too late.

Ken went back in time to 10 different occasions of his life, starting from high school all the way to the instant just before Rei's wedding. Trying desparately to change what ever he can in order to make a difference, however he return back to the present each time, feeling disappointed because nothing in the present have changed though he did make some changes in the past. Ken, is still standing in the audience area, while tada is still the groom.

Throughout the 10 times he went back in time, it was found that Rei actually likes Ken however she was also unable to tell him the truth. Both of them faced difficulty in confessing due to the fact that they were childhood friends. Finally Rei gave up thinking about ken when she turned 20 and start dating tada when tada confessed. And after 2 years they finally decided to get married.

At the 10th time when Ken travelled back in time, he did not return to the present time (i.e. the time when they were viewing the montage).. instead he returned slightly earlier to the time before he gave the speech.

This time he is determined to confess to Rei, to say the words that he wasnt able to say for 14 years. In his speech, he confessed to a tearful Rei about the past and told her that he still lover her. He ended off congratulating Rei and Tada, wishing them the best.

The show ended with Ken walking out of the church, took a cab away and a tearful Rei chasing after him in her wedding gown.

The show reveals alot of Ken's emotions.
The helpless and hopeless feeling when he realise he cant change anything despite trying his best. It's sad to see someone you loved so much going off with someone else, and knowing that you could have been that 'someone else' if only you have tried harder.

we always say if only this and if only that, when we realise that its too late to salvage a situation and start to regret.

Ken was also thinking.. 'if only i had confessed.. it would have been different today..'. In his case, he was lucky to have they help of a fairy to send him back in time to correct his mistakes.

however, we all know that this is not possible in reality.. right?
There is no fairy.
There is no going back in time.
Thats why we should live our lives properly so as not to say 'if only..' when something goes wrong.

well well..
I must say this is a pretty sad drama.
My heart was aching for Ken from episode 1 to episode 11.
helpless.
hopeless.
watching the girl you love slip away, out of your reach, out of your life and into someone else's...
i understand.

Maaka/Marker family are vampires who shifted to japan in the 21st century.
Karin however is looked upon as a freak or mutant vampire by her family members.
she is not sensitive to sunlight, garlic, and does not suck blood.
Instead she is a blood maker. Everytime when she approach someone who is unhappy, karin feels her blood increasing. If she doesnt bite someone and inject these excess blood into her victim, the excess blood will come out as an exaggerated nosebleed.

Usui Kenta, karin's classmate found out that karin from a vampire family. Henry and Carrera Marker then requested Usui to keep quiet and to take care of karin during the day or else they will erase all of Usui's memory. Usui promised to take care of karin.

Then comes Winner Sinclair, a new transfer student, who is madly in love with Karin.
Winner is a girl's magnet, however he is only interested in karin. He said it was like love at first sight and this love begin years ago by a lake when he dreamt that he and karin were kissing.

It wasnt a dream actually. Many years ago, karin and winner did run into each other by the lake and that was went karin first bite someone and this someone happens to be winner sinclair. They later erased his memory, so winner thought that what ever that happened bewteen them was just a dream/illusion.

Makiko Tokitou, Karin's best friend is in love with Winner however, Winner only know her as 'karin-san's friend' and cannot remember her name. Winner's constant attention for Karin creates intense jealousy in Makiko.

Karin on the other hand wanst interested in Winner at all. She was more into Usui Kenta. The two began to fall in love with each other despite knowing that they are of different species.

Elda Marker, the grandmother who looks like 20 yrs old but is actually more than 200 yrs old, appeared half way through the story and wanted to bite Usui.

You see.. Vampire have different taste in blood. Ren maaka loves stressful people's blood. One he bite them, it takes their stress away. Elda marker, have a taste in love. So if she bites Usui, he will cease to love karin.

They did manage to stop Elda, and Elda then told karin a story about Human and vampire love. It was hundered years ago when Elda and Alfred Sinclair fell in love. One day the town decided to kill Elda and both of them were trapped in a burning cottage. Alfred told Elda to bite him so that she will have enough energy to escape. Elda was reluctant as a bite will means taking Alfred's love for her away. But Alfred assured her that his love for her will never cease so Elda bit Alfred.

Alfred changed once he was bitten. He couldnt believe that he fell for a vampire and stabbed Elda with a stake. Elda manage to escape.

At that period of time, Sinclair family wasnt vampire hunters yet. But due to this 'human and vampire' love, Sinclair family's reputation was tarnished and they were outcasted by society. In order to atone for their mistakes, future generations of Sinclairs are trained to be vampire hunters.

At the last few episodes, Elda found a way to make Karin a full fledge normal vampire, who can only go out in the dark and suck instead of give blood. Karin was reluctant initially because it means she will not be able to be with Usui. Ren Maaka then came and beg Usui to give up karin and return karin back to the family. Because Usui's love is the only thing that is holding her back.

Usui agreed and karin went for the ritual..
After much thought Usui still cant let Karin go and he decided to go stop the ritual.

The story also talks abiut Anju Maaka and Karin's relationshop. Anju a mysterious little girl actually cares alot for her sister and wants her sister to be happy, so she is constantly helping Karin and Usui to be with each other, where as Ren marker is the one who hope that Usui can leave karin.

Went out with the gang today.
ate our '10 flavour mix into 1' own made ice cream.

arcade was fun, especially when priscilla sponsored 37 dollars and the rest sponsored our help to help her finish the 37 dollars worth of credits.. haha!

only for the beginner's circuit.. i know nuts abt advance and expert circuit.. haha.

have been watching Detective Academy Q anime.
Its mystery, not much romance.. or non at all.. lol

Its about 5 students who got enrolled into DDS a top notch academy that trains detective in japan. Each of the 5 have their own speciality and they are all enrolled into class 'Q' which explains the title Detective Academy Q.

kyu and Ryu both have amazing deductive abilitys.
Meg possess photographic memory.
kinta is a martial art expert
and kazuma they youngest of all who is only 11 years old is a computer program genius.

They were often laughed at by class A students because the students were streamed into classes A B C D and Q according to their entrance exam results, but soon they realise that class Q have a special meaning.

Q means 'Qualified'.. students in this class are potential successor of the famous Dan Morihiko detective who runs the academy.

pretty interesting to watch how they figure and solve mysteries.

alright.. i have already planned out my next few anime..

just finish school rumble 2.
funny anime.

its about harima kenji a delinquent who fall for tenma tsukamoto who is in love with karasuma. Harima and Tenma both tried to confess to the person they like since school rumble 1. and 50+ episodes later... still din manage to confess successfully.. haha!

though its 50 plus episodes, its humour are non-repeative. recommended!

Think there is a school rumble 3 but only 2 episodes in it.

i feel sad for harima cuz he ended up helping tenma and karasuma to get tgt.
feel sad for yakumo (tenma's younger sister) .. she fall for harima after helping him as a manga assistant, however she decided not to confess and hope that tenma can fall for harima so that her older sister wont be lonely anymore.

i was hoping harima and yakumo can be tgt, cuz yakumo is really a nice girl.
doubt that will ever happen though.

sometimes after spending hours watching a certain series there tend to be some bond between you and the characters, and its so sad to say good bye at the last episode.

aw man.. next class outing is still 2 months away.

went asian civi museum with sp marsh and jh cus the girls had to do their history project. museum.. quite quiet sia.. nice and peaceful place.

while going home sp said something stupid. cant believe it. i almost fall flat and die on the spot.

I could never be one of those. Their all so pretty and bubbly and….. not me. I couldn’t even start to compare myself to them. But whenever I think of him or see him, I can’t help it, I smile. Now I didn’t tell you this but he called me the other day about homework. I tell you now, I made a complete fool of myself. I’m so embarrassed. I stuttered the whole time, but he was so sweet and just kept talking and making me feel better. OMFG!

I just finish watching this anime 'school days' and i thought the ending will be as nice as 'tokimeki memorial only love' i guess i was wrong.

its just one hell of a disaster. serious.
like the most tragic love triangle ever existed in the history of mankind.

Its romance, sex, jealousy, lies and in the end death.
hey its just one sad story ok.

and i felt really sorry for kotonoha.. she went kinda crazy at the end after waiting for motoko for so long.

if i were motoko i would be pretty touched by kotonoha. she did everything and went against all her principles just to please the guy she love. sad ending.

so it ended with sekai, one of motoko's several lovers killing motoko cos she is overly jealous that motoko chose kotonoha. Then kotonoha killed sekai and the story ended off with kotonoha on a yatch with motoko's dead body. she always wanted to go on the yatch with motoko.. i guess it was kinda like a dream come true except that the love of her life is dead.

pretty creepy. you should see how she hug the dead motoko's head.

Its just so sad. It was partially motoko's fault also cos he was fooling around with so many girls. well well..

lesson learnt: nv fool around or you may end up dead. haha!

So today i was pretty sian when i thought abt it.

Its like my youthful days are gonna be over and i spend it like this.

second reason..

damn i am 19 and i m currently not interested in girls.
i mean like since my last seriously interested one.
not those mini crushes.. um..

um.. back in early 2007 ba. It is freaking 1.5 yrs back dude!

then of course along the way there are minor crushes.
i guess its normal for ppl of this age, esp guys.
if dun have that means something is wrong.
and seriously.. something IS wrong with me noW!!

so i was complaining to my mom.
damn why am i not interested in anyone.
its damn abnormal.
so she said cuz i still haven run into someone i love.
ok thats the correct answer.

I realised that after finishing that anime.
you know last time if you got that type of small passing crushes it keeps life interesting and your brain occupied. i guess you all know what i mean la.
but now.. its like my brains has nothing but brain juice inside.

and of course, in the show riku and sayuri got tgt in the end and wow everything is like so perfect. i was thinking.. damn why cant my life also be so perfect and happy huh? you got to watch the show to understand it. sayuri is like miss perfect angel. something like dat. i guess this kind of girl is like all the guys dream.

dont say i m lame and retarded ok. who doesnt want to have a nice gf or bf right?

i was feeling kinda bored these days after work so one fine day i stumbled upon an anime and so i decided to finish the 25 episode series.


Tokimeki Memorial Only Love

The story revolves around a male second year high school student, Riku Aoba, who has just recently transferred to the holy cross high school, where he notices, upon joining, several unique and funny occurrences, often being the target of a series of events and races administered by the student council and its fun-seeking president.

While at the academy, Riku meets three beautiful girls: Sayuri Amamiya, Tsukasa Kasuga, and Mina Yayoi, with numerous fateful events happening along the way.


I thought it was pretty nice. Comedy plus high school romance.

So basically the 3 girls sayuri, tsukasa and mina fall for this very nice guy riku.

mina a year 1 student fall for riku after he helped her in her swimming practice, but she was too shy to express it in actions.

Tsukasa was second to fall for riku after bumping into him along the way to school. she is a strong believer of destiny and after bumping into riku she thought he was the right one for her and decided to make him her bf without his agreement or what so ever..lol!

sayuri the school most popular and prettiest girl seem neutral about riku throughout the first half of the series. Then as the story nears its end, she began to feel jealous when she see riku with other girls. This is when she realise she actually likes riku.

As for riku, he is just one poor confused soul. he gets dragged around by tsukasa who made him her bf without his consent. and was initially in a love triangle with tsukasa and mina. But he was thinking of sayuri most of the time.

At the end when sayuri realise she like riku and all 3 girls confessed to him separately. He had to make a decision.

The story ended with riku being transferred out of the school, and him choosing sayuri over the 2 others.

This is the romance part of the show. The comdey part was really funny. most about riku and his guy friends.. haha!!

I thought this story was nice and was pretty engrossed in it. I think i can feel for the 3 girls. Like when riku went on a school trip and dint reply mina's messages, she felt so depressed. and i understand how it felt.. seriously sad.

and i felt sad for the mina and tsukasa at the end. well.. at the same time i feel happy for riku and sayuri also.

wow and all the way i was thinking riku is like the lucky guy with 3 girls falling for him.

overall its like a bitter sweet high school romance plus comedy anime. nice. and i m seriously emo that it end and there is no series 2 to it.

This brings me to think of the days when i m still in school. I used to complain alot about school. like its so boring and i hate homework. lets skip gp lectures and dont do tutorials. Go play basketball or go amk central eat lunch. Lets go home or go for a class outing.

wow. those were some nice days.
after watching these high school anime, it makes me wanna go back to school more.
i mean not uni.. but maybe jc.
when we all still wear the same uniform.

now i actually regret why dint i treasure my studying days more and why did i complain about school everyday. damn .. too late to regret.

like my mom always tell me last time.. treasure my studying days once its gone it can never come back. how true.
