i was looking thru youtube just now and came across this video that teaches ppl how to make money online. LOL!
so i watched it la.. and listened to the guy talk. the first thing that came to my mind was.. hey is this a singaporean?
thou he is trying very hard to speak proper english but can still hear that english is not his native tongue. so i went to check his profile.
yea.. indeed.. he's from sg.
see.. you can differentiate native sg ppl from just hearing them speak. dun even need to look at them.
god.. i just wrote 3 newyear cards.
and badly written.. 2 months nv use a pen liao.. i almost forget what is a pen and how to use one.
o.. i bet 10 dollars lao pris is going to be late.

one thing i learn abt from wad ever i m doing now.. there is not such thing as easy money in this world. serious.

30 days of night
I made the clip..lol.
not very well done but u should get a gist of what the movie is about.
It was orginally in DIVX format.. so i used prism converter to convert it into WMV. It took 7hours to convert. Then 2 hours to rewatch and edit the 1 hr 44 min movie into 9 min 36 second clip.
I have plenty of time to do rubbish stuff. HAHA!
The first video i edited was JUNO, even before it started screening in US. Eh.. i got the fragmented clips from some websites, converted them from FLV to WMV then edited and piece everything tgt to become a 5min30+ second trailer. Took like 4 hours to do it cuz it was my first time. HAHA!
Ran into much difficulties in obtaining the clips cuz you cant just download it. Its like youtube.. not downloading. So wad i did was install realplayer downloader to download it in FLV format.. but.. it was copyrighted and realplayer follows copyright laws.. so had to find Orbit Downloader and DL all the 8 clips.
Then covert everything using video format converter. The WMV format was disastrous cuz the audio and image were not insync.. so had to reconvert every clip like 10 times.. BUT its still not insync. So in the end must edit the 'spoiled' parts off leaving the good ones behind.
had nothing much to do. din expect it to have 13k views in 20 days..lol.
i dun think JUNO will be screened in SG, cuz there are lots of american teenage slangs that not many ppl can understand. But its a great film.. judging on all the clips.

seriously i m super glad to be not studying now.
i do enjoy hanging out with friends, and eating in the canteen, but taking exams and test and tutorials are just unbearable. espcially failing test, exams and getting screamed at crazy tutors during tutorials..lol.
but then i m going to freaking NS and staring my life over again.
this means new ppl and edwin is not good at adapting to new environment.
i rmb when i first came to jc, i was worried that i wasnt able to make any friends.
luckily got lots of zhss ppl or else i really loner liao.
now going to NS, i m worried that i will not be able to get along with ppl there.
not that i have any prob in socialising or wad. i think my social skills are not so bad.. but just i scared i zi bi then die ah.
Then after NS, have so many months b4 uni. So must go work. then again.. need to adapt to new ppl during work. then start uni also must adapt. finish uni also must adapt. its all abt adapting.
ok if.. i cannot get into uni then dun need adapt so many times liao.
and seriously i can see my future.
what lies ahead is completely unknown.
i cant see what i will be like in the future and i dun have a goal..sian.
i m 18 and going to be an adult soon.. and my life is still so screwed.
suddenly felt damn bored.
like nothing to do sia.
i m infront of this comp for 16.5 hours a day.
7 hours of sleep.
0.5 hours in the toilet.
16.5 hours on the comp.
yes i take my breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper in my room infront of the comp.

ok i m trying to convert Divx videos into WMV format. just for fun..lol.. testing the software out. Freak it takes super long to convert la.

i was watching 30 Days of Night till 2am this morning and went to be at 3am.
Ok.. great vampire show.
If you compare old horror films and new horror films you will realise that there is a difference in how they freak ppl out.
old horror films uses more of the suprise element. i.e. something just jump out of some where and BOO!!!
new horror films like 30daysofnight does use such techiques but not so frequently. They uses scary images. such as all those bloody corspes, show u how they rip ppl apart, blood spewing everywhere, blah blah.. sadistic scenes.
ok.. then i went to bed and i have a nightmare.
stupid show.
But it isnt abt zombies, vampires or has anything to do with blood.
lol.. this nightmare is pretty lame, here it goes.
i dreamed all my friends left me.

I m seriously out of shape.
Just went downstairs and do my 2.4 without timing.
And now i m like dying.
Felt like jelly and abit blur blur de.. haha.
Running 2.4 is ok.
But it is what happen after running that scares me.
because i haven exercise properly for like 3-4 months..
i was panting like siao after the run.
practically have to stick my tongue out and pant like a dog.. pant pant..

Lets touch a little about relationship.
Some people prefer the 'short-cut' others like me prefer the long way.
ok short cut doesnt mean bad its just personal preference.
Long way means.. start from strangers (duh) then become friends.. better friend.. even better friends.. and finally develop some special feelings then blah blah..
short cut means 2 people starts off as strangers (duh) then when they get to know each other they will have this mindset 'alright he/she may be the one' so they cont knowing for sometime and then *ting!* jackport!
yea.. so the diff btw long/short is long starts off as being friends and no other intentions and short starts off as being friends but having intentions already. Intentions doesnt mean bad intentions ah.
so personally i prefer the long way.
but i guess in the modern fast paced world people are begining to take short ways.
but seriously.. long way sucks sometimes.
not that it takes a super long time.. its just after being such good friends.. i may just not wanna take it any futher cuz it may spoil friendship. Friendship is such an impt thing.. much more impt that love.

i m like a begger.. going around begging for people's PW stuff when PW is long over. Like 1 yr ago? 12 months. 52 weeks. 365days.8760 hours.525600mins.31536000secs!!
here is the story..
my mom told me someone needs the pw stuff needs me to get it from who ever i know.
so i was like.. ok pw stuff.. i will try.
so i msg a classmate and asked.
so he said ok.. and i said thanks.. duh.. i m a polite guy..
and its a couple of days already he haven send it.. i dun like to pressure people into sending it to me.. so i just gave him a kind reminder.. and hopefully he is free to send me soon.
then my mom is like keep pestering me abt the thing.
i was so irritated.
cuz this is not my freaking commitment to help ppl collect PW stuff and send it.
pw is long over for me.
i m doing it voluntarily and so stop pressuring me for it.. cuz if ppl is bz to pass it to me i cant do anything.
its not my fault and its not anyone's fault! so stop asking me crap abt it.
cuz i m definitely not obliged to help anyone.
but being a damn nice guy i decided to try helping but if i fail is also not my biz.. cuz there isnt an ISO 9002 'satisfaction guaranteed' stamp on my head.
and i m doing it voluntarily for free and i m not obliged to do it.. so there shdnt be any applying of pressure on me to submit my task. And i should not pressurize those helping me to send it.
so if ppl dun send it there's nothing much i can do except to sit infront of this comp and type this post.

O.. i m back from christmas lunch and dinner.
Went bugis with 11 other classmates for christmas lunch.
ate at n.y.d.c.
then went arcade and pool.
i suck big time at pool.
and i suck big time at daytona.
zzzzz.
We hang at the arcade and pool for quite some time before moving to Long John for dinner.
I guess outside food really has alot of MSG, cuz i m super super thirsty now.
hm.. not too bad.. today I earned USD $1 with google adsense, Submitted a post which is worth USD $2 and currently writting one which is worth USD $10 but dunno if they will aprove this post or not..lol.
Back from christmas gathering.
went for steamboat and played fireworks.
Pris got us the fireworks and guess what is used to light the fireworks?

haha.. but we got it going.. after like more than 10 tries and using 2/3 of the matches in the box.
But its fun we were playing like children.. haha.
Went to Clarke Quay after that.. took us a long time to decide on where to go. we were trying to find a place with fewer people. Clarke Quay is still ok la.. at least better than orchard. Anyways just sat there and talked for i dunno how long.
wait till 12am. ooo.. 12am! merry christmas! everyone start spraying foam from a can on everyone..lol.. luckily din kena me.
i was complaining to pris that we have been out for almost the whole day, seen hundreds of ppl but din see ppl tat we know. Where are all the people we know?!?! then guess who we ran into on the MRT during the ride back home. Yong Kian the funny guy.. haha!!
