just came back not too long ago.
went out with a bunch of 0806 ppl.
the thing started out with only jason and zx at raffles place.
i arrived subsequently.. and join them for dinner.
marsh and zinc arrived only after our dinner.
we watched them ate..lol.
attempted to find a nice spot for the fireworks, however we gave up.
decided to watch movie, and after a freaking long time we settled on the local film "where got ghost" at cathay screening at 0140hrs.
so we made our day to The Settlers and enjoyed ourselves there in the meant time.
ck and ys join us at The Settlers.
took some retarded photos..lol
hock came at 1am plus and joined us for the show.
interesting.
its not exactly a horror story.
i found it quite funny..lol.. but most of the dialogues are in hokkien, it will be a plus if you can understand hokkien.
there is a learning to bring back home in every story.
cabbed back to sengkang with ys.
thats 10 bucks per person.. if i was alone i would have waited 2 more hours for the first train.. haha.
wa i am so pro.. only slept 4 hours after my night shift yesterday and still can hold up for the whole night.

i used to be into pen manipulation 5 years back and quitted after secondary school.
during that time, i bought like few hundred pens and now they are all in my cupboard.
recently, while browzing through the web i saw this out-of-production pen was retailing for USD$10 each. I dug through my collections and found 64 of those pens all kept nicely in a box. Got them 5 years ago for SGD $2-$3 per pen. Muhahahahaha!!!!

0806 chalet at HTNS Pasir Ris.
The compound of the chalet and the chalet building itself is abit run down and ill-maintained, nevertheless, i still enjoyed myself there.
Spend most of the time in the chalet.. eating and sleeping, then talking crap and watching tvee.. playing some games. No night cycling this time and no pulau ubin trip.. i guess because everyone is tired and broke. haha.
I think its cool to live there.. if its not so old.. if i have my own car.. and if there are not so many mosquitoes!!

has been 7-8 years since we graduated from the school.. and 3-4 years since the last outing.. haha.. had a great time chatting about all those that happened in primary 6.

been almost 6 months since i last bowled.
went yishun safra to bowl today.
bowled like shit, but thats not the main point.
my middle finger is gone.
probably from the friction created between the tip of the middle finger and the ball while bowling. it caused a tear and subsequently turned into a hole at the top segment of the middle finger.. any deeper it would have reached my flesh already.
knn.. i m typing this post with my ring finger lor.. the middle finger is handicapped already. luckily i dun use it to point at ppl one.. haha. erps.
ok i will stop complaining of the pain like a gay.. but its really painful when the water touches the wound..zzz...

went sentosa with the gang today.
the last time we went there together was on 15 dec 2007, that was like 1 year 4 months ago.
wow time really flies huh?
rmb the last time we went there, i tried to piggyback pris but dropped her like a sack of potatoes a couple of times before finally able to piggyback her. haha.
The water and beach really wore me out.
Beach volleyball. what's that?
we dont even know how to play. just whacking a ball here and there.. and actually spend most of the time picking up the ball than playing.. haha.
ended up playing captain's ball and cards instead.
went vivo and ate at secret recipe after that. the plain ice water cost 50 cents ok.. but ice without water is free of charge. so the water cost 50 cents!! That's omg ridiculous.
had a nice day outside.. haha..
but.. thinking of work tml is really sian.. wish i wasnt working tml.

Turn the light off while stalls are occupied.
Order a pizza. (This works great in bars that allow outside food deliveries. Call back the pizza parlor thirty minutes after you place your order, giving them plenty of time to start delivering the pizza, and tell them you can be found in the last stall in the men's bathroom. Refuse to leave until you get your pizza.)
Stick your head over an occupied stall and ask for the time.
Tell people that they're on TV. Point to some random spot on the far wall and ask them to "smile for the camera".
Lie down across all the sinks and pretend to be passed out.
Use a stopwatch to time people going to the bathroom. Cheer them on to encourage good performance.
Hold your hand in front of a hand dryer while someone's using it.
Pour a bucket of water over an occupied stall.
Grab someone's ass really hard while they're using a urinal, and see how far you can get before they catch you.
Guard the paper towel dispenser in the name of the Earth Liberation Front.
Say to the guy at the next urinal: "This is the best part about being gay."
Say, "Huh, that's funny. I don't remember eating asparagus."
Turn off the faucet while someone's washing their hands. Repeat.
Pee on someone's leg and tell them it's raining.
Offer to blow-dry other people's hands with your mouth to save energy.
Point at someone's crotch while they're using a urinal and yell, "Ha ha, your fly is down!"
Put on a hand puppet show underneath the stall next to you.

Smear peanut butter on a piece of toilet paper, drop it between stalls, and curse yourself for being clumsy.
Flash people standing just outside the bathroom door. Tell them that you've finally "found the loophole".
Pump soap for people, give out paper towels, and demand tips.
Wear a camera around your neck and offer to take people's photos for money.
When the bathroom is empty, get down on your hands and knees and hold your face over one of the urinals. Wait in that position until someone enters the bathroom. Act as if you're embarrassed to be caught.

they were telling me its my slightly over sized shoe that made me trip.

while walking home this morning something caught my attention.
out of the corner of my eye, i saw a small transparent plastic bag 'fluttering' on a patch of grass by the roadside.
It's not only 'fluttering', its also 'rolling' and even 'jumping'. The funny this is.. there's no wind at all.
Being curious i went over a check what's going on and guess what???
There's a bird inside the plastic bag.
Probably went into the plastic bag which contained some scraps of food and ate his breakfast.. then dunno how to get out.. haha.

i would say it's an insane day. was quite satisfying. A friend and I did some card magic on 2 person we barely know. The effect was quite great. Imagine seeing your selected card placed in the deck and into the box but only to find it missing from the box, and appear in your pockets or in bewteen the seats. hahaha!!

The last time wen went in august, i booked pit 65. We walked like siao cos its at the extreme end.
This time, i booked pit 27, we still walked like siao cuz alighted at the wrong bus stop.

oops.. no pictures, i wasnt the camera man for the day.
So we had bbq.. bridged alittle.. then play this love fortune telling game..pretty funny i think. Everyone took turns to get their love fortune read, some are good and some are bad. yeah we used poker cards to do this thing. I know, its just some kiddy play, but its pretty scary when everyone watched you read your fortune.
Aiya, me and her can nv be tgt. LOL! i just randomly picked a female friend's name to be read.. haha.
We went on to play 'Mafia'..its probably 0806's ultimate favourite game. Most of us picked this up and played as a class during the genting trip.. in Jan 2008.
Mafia-ed for many hours and we went on to play some lame orientation type of games. And some IQ type of games. interesting.
When the sky got brighter we played charade.. also one of the favourite games. I rmb we played alot of this in school when we were preparing for Prelims and A levels. ahh.. those were the nice days.
Suprisingly, i wasnt tired at all till after breakfast at 9am. I remembered all of us collasped at 5am during our august bbq. But this time only some collasped.. haha.
Maybe the long night shifts hours got me used to staying up throughout the night.
It was fun, definitely.
I think i was acting like a total retard throughout the night. oh no.. i know what u r gonna say. 'Edwin IS a retard".
hm.. think i saw someone familar at the pit beside ours.

Spend most of the time watching J-drama.
Well, just finished watching 'Yasuko to Kenji' ytd.
The show focuses on a man named Kenji and his younger sister Yasuko, whose parents died in an accident 10 years earlier. Kenji was once the leader of a gang, but in order to support him and his sister, he began making a living as a shojo mangaka. His character normally wears glasses and appears to be a gentle guy, but he throws off his glasses and reverts to his violent side whenever he tries to protect Yasuko from danger. Part of the story follows Yasuko's romance with an intelligent and good-looking man named Jun Tsubaki. Jun's older sister Erika now runs a flower shop, but Erika was once a leader of a female gang, and she used to be in love with Kenji during those days.

800th post!
Thank you all for reading 800 pieces of crap.
Started watching this J-drama titled "Yasuko To Kenji".
What attracted me initially was the title.
I remembered watching the School Rumble series and one of the characters was named "kenji" as well. And another character was named "Yakumo" & it sounds alittle similar to "Yasuko".
So, i began reading the synopsis and found this an interesting show. 10 episodes of 45 mins. Just completed 3 episodes. Think it's a very nice story.
It's about Oki Kenji and his sister Oki Yasuko. A big brother and little sister story. The Kenji in this show and Kenji in School Rumble are a little similar. Both looks fierce, they were from gangs, and both are manga artist.
Anyways, though i have only watched 3/10 episodes, i found this show quite heart warming and touching. Recommended.

alrighty.. went out with the gang on 10 dec to minds cafe. pretty fun and i think 5 dollars is quite cheap and its worth it.

Darn.. makes me wanna relive my school days.
Here goes the story..
one day Manaka Junpei a wanna be flim director was at the rooftop of the school when suddenly a girl fall from a platform just above him and landed infront of him, and he accidentally saw her strawberry panties. L O L! ! !
Anways, it was love at first sight for him. And he had never see this beautiful girl in school. Later in the story he realised this beautiful girl is actually Tojo Aya, a nerdy looking girl with huge specs who studies in the neighbouring class. Tojo Aya was actualy secretly in love with Manaka.
Along the way in junior high and high school he meet Nishino, an extremely popular girl in junior high. For a retarded reason, both of them dated, and a love triangle formed between Tojo, Manaka and Nishino.
As they go into high school, Nishino and Manaka broke up, Another two girls join in the picture, Satsuki Kitaoji, an extremely out going girl and Yui Minamito Manaka's childhood friend fall for Manaka. So it makes a total of 4 girls and 1 guy.
The story goes about telling his encounters with 4 wonderful girls and his troubles in deciding on which to pick as his girlfriend.
well.. after 13 episodes + 4 episodes of OVA, they din say which girl he picked.

I was hoping that he picked Tojo cuz she's really nice.
But according to the Manga, he rejected Tojo and picked Nishino 4 years after they graduated from high school. Ok la.. Nishino is also a nice girl. Actally each of them have their own favourable points.
damn.. high school romance.

Very interesting.
It's about a newbie detective and a university professor nicked named as "Galileo" because he is known to be the Genius of Physic.
So they go around solving crimes that people think is caused by supernatural beings.
Then he explains the mystery behind these crimes with physic.

Adapted from a Manga, there is an anime version and a live action version.

10 episodes of 36 minutes and 1 episode of 2h25mins.
It's about people getting involved in a game called Liar Game Tournament, where they are to deceive and trick others in giving up their money. Apart from the very pretty main actress Erika Toda who acted as Nao, the strategies used in obtaining other people's money are very interesting. It's nothing close to using violence and robbing others of their money. Its all about using brains and the art of deception.
This show serves to remind all of us that the world is not as pure as we think it is. Not to believe in just anyone we meet and never to let our guard down or else we will be the ones at the losing end. However while protecting ourselves, we should also not inflict any harm on others.

Ken Iwase was at Rei Yoshida's wedding ceremony. Despite such happy occasion, he was feeling sad and regretful. Rei and Ken were childhood friends, they meet when Rei transferred to his class in primary 3 and since then they became best friends.
Rei is getting married to Tada Tetsuya, who was a trainee teacher who taught Ken and his friends when they were in high school.
Ken who was secretly in love with Rei for the past 14 years now have to watch his dream girl slip away. And to make things worse, as Rei's best friend he is entrusted with the task to deliver a speech to congratulate the couple and to wish them eternal happiness.
Hiding his true emotions, Ken delivered the speech and wished them the best. Deep down inside he was full of regret and wished that he had tried harder to confess.
They proceed to view a montage containing pictures of Rei, ken, Tada + 3 other of their best friends. The montage traced Rei's life from primary school when she met Ken.. to high school.. to university.. to work.. to the day when tada proposed to Rei.
A church fairy saw Ken's depressed state and decided to help him by letting Ken travel back in time to correct his past and to confess to Rei before it is too late.
Ken went back in time to 10 different occasions of his life, starting from high school all the way to the instant just before Rei's wedding. Trying desparately to change what ever he can in order to make a difference, however he return back to the present each time, feeling disappointed because nothing in the present have changed though he did make some changes in the past. Ken, is still standing in the audience area, while tada is still the groom.
Throughout the 10 times he went back in time, it was found that Rei actually likes Ken however she was also unable to tell him the truth. Both of them faced difficulty in confessing due to the fact that they were childhood friends. Finally Rei gave up thinking about ken when she turned 20 and start dating tada when tada confessed. And after 2 years they finally decided to get married.
At the 10th time when Ken travelled back in time, he did not return to the present time (i.e. the time when they were viewing the montage).. instead he returned slightly earlier to the time before he gave the speech.
This time he is determined to confess to Rei, to say the words that he wasnt able to say for 14 years. In his speech, he confessed to a tearful Rei about the past and told her that he still lover her. He ended off congratulating Rei and Tada, wishing them the best.
The show ended with Ken walking out of the church, took a cab away and a tearful Rei chasing after him in her wedding gown.
The show reveals alot of Ken's emotions.
The helpless and hopeless feeling when he realise he cant change anything despite trying his best. It's sad to see someone you loved so much going off with someone else, and knowing that you could have been that 'someone else' if only you have tried harder.

we always say if only this and if only that, when we realise that its too late to salvage a situation and start to regret.
Ken was also thinking.. 'if only i had confessed.. it would have been different today..'. In his case, he was lucky to have they help of a fairy to send him back in time to correct his mistakes.
however, we all know that this is not possible in reality.. right?
There is no fairy.
There is no going back in time.
Thats why we should live our lives properly so as not to say 'if only..' when something goes wrong.
well well..
I must say this is a pretty sad drama.
My heart was aching for Ken from episode 1 to episode 11.
helpless.
hopeless.
watching the girl you love slip away, out of your reach, out of your life and into someone else's...
i understand.

darn.. i m no longer schooling, so school holidays doesnt apply to me.
infact, school holidays seem to be the busiest season for me.
